The 1958 Homecoming button

At the request of Tom Smith, Washburn Class of 1958, Charles Schultz created this Homecoming button as a favor. Tom lived on Minneahaha Parkway west of the Nicollet Avenue Bridge next door to cartoonist Schultz, who occupied one of those Moorish-Mediterannean-styled homes before he moved to California.

The button was manufactured by
Midwest Badge & Novelty Co. Inc. of Minneapolis.
